Senior Copywriter & Associate Creative Director

ABOUT ME

Let’s collaborate!

My experience and what I do:

I am a multidisciplinary writer, creative lead, and content creator with 9 years of agency and brand experience. I’ve worked on everything where words exist; bold campaigns, speeches, scripts, blogs, articles, social media and everything and anything in between—I have worked on every aspect of brand storytelling and advertising there is. But my real superpower lies in my 6th sense for understanding what resonates with audiences, and how to best communicate with them.

I have worked on everything from ideating/concepting, executing, rebranding, and taking existing work further. I have touched on countless projects and briefs that are never the same. The only thing my projects have in common is that I give 1,000% to providing my clients with a voice, personality, and a purpose to engage and grow their brands.

My most recent work has been with a year-long contract working with the Walmart Creative Studio, where I have developed seasonal campaigns and storytelling for home, as well as executing mass assets across email, site and paid.

Previously, I was creating content as an ACD for Marshalls’s social channels, making culturally relevant and exciting content that often included prop-styling and shooting from my own home (and using my own pets) to create organic content. I elevated the brand using fashion, beauty, and home decor that induced trip-driving visits to stores. Did I mention that I live and breath social media?

Some other clients that I have worked with: Moderna, NÜTRL (an Anhauser-Busch company) Amazon Home/Amazon Pets, Butterfinger, Sephora, Clairol, Daily Harvest, Dermstore, DIFF Eyewear, Fashion Institute of Technology, Flow Hydration, fresh Beauty, USA Today, HALO Sleep, Kiehl’s, Moda Operandi, Pinterest, Raven Health, Saks Fifth Avenue, Spotify, Tic Tac, Torrid Fashion, Turks & Caicos Board of Tourism, UGG, Verizon, Walmart, Year of Ours, and many, many more.

I have also written long-form such as blogs for various brands/agencies and was an ongoing contributor to Women’s World Magazine (click to read samples if you’d like).

I honestly and sincerely love what I do. My life’s goal is to keep creating and writing.

How I got to this place in life:

Some people just know from day one what they’re born to do, and being a writer was it for me. But that doesn’t mean I knew how to get there right away.

I grew up on a boat as a child. Writing became a way to create a dialog in an often inspiring, yet incredibly isolating setting during our times at sea. As I got older and eventually moved to dry land, I continued to write as an outlet but I was never sure how to pursue this hobby as a career. By not doing so, I struggled to succeed in jobs where I didn’t belong.

I somehow made my way into a project manager role where I  began to contribute to our company blog, and began to write marketing assets for our website and tradeshows. I enjoyed working on these special projects so much more than my day-to-day work, and I realized that what I was doing was copywriting. When our office was shuttered, I took it as a sign to switch careers and do whatever it took to finally become a writer and build my experience to where I am today. This is why my experience and portfolio are so diverse—I love to grow and challenge myself.

Stuff that has nothing to do with work:

My hobbies include: home decor and interiors, going to the beach as a sport, summer and warm weather, sparkly things, understanding emotions, feelings of nostalgia, human connection, excellent food & bev, the wonders of the universe, evolution, holistic health, anything 90s, memes, anything Italy or Italian, Roman history, history in general, animal rescue, animals in general, nails, and fashion (duh).

I’m based in New York City and have many West Coast clients, but I’ll love working with you no matter where you are.

The author with perpetual bedhead.
